Its hard to accept things that can’t be changed but once self- respect is gained acceptance follows right through. Many lack in self-esteem but those who have it are the most loving and friendly people. Having self-esteem is not valuing oneself more than others instead it is to â€Å"evaluate something positively and hold it in high regard† (Langer). Self-respect and self-esteem work hand in hand. One isn’t possible without the other, its like â€Å"teaching others how to treat you by showing them how you treat yourself† (Kotsos) one must accept who they are in order to value themselves. Self-esteem grows in a person who accepts who they are and are okay with theShow MoreRelatedEducational Significance Of A Good Film1363 Words   |  6 Pagesalso help people in many professional areas.
